Happy Wednesday dumplings, hopefully you’ll forgive me for posting later than usual. I decided better late than not at all. I have been feeling a bit torn lately since Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. Everywhere I look it’s all about Christmas and I’m just not in that mindset as yet. Trust and believe after I eat my Thanksgiving dinner with my family and do a few things that demonstrate my gratitude I will be. However maybe it’s best to just go with the flow, right? So here’s a tiny nod to Christmas card wise since I know someone said “But what about the rosette Miss Hammie?” . That was about the kit, not Christmas okay. Anywho, today’s card has a Real Red cardbase, I layered a piece of dsp from the Quilted Christmas dsp stack. The sentiment, I borrowed that from the October Paper Pumpkin stamp set. The sentiment was stamped in Real Red on a Whisper White oval that I cut out using my Big Shot and a die from the Stitched Shapes framelits. Time out for a business reminder: There is still time to subscribe to Paper Pumpkin and get the special November Paper Pumpkin kit. Subscribe by November 10th, the October kit was awesome and I know that the November kit will be as well. Do not miss out.
Back to my card, it’s cute, it’s easy to make even for new crafters and I love the little trees. What’s not to love.
A lot of my Stampin’ Up family and they are like family, are in or on their way to Salt Lake City, Utah for OnStage, don’t ask I need an entire blog post to explain it. It’s a really fun filled 3 Days where you get to spend time with demonstrators from, quite honestly, around the world. I might be the teeny tiniest bit jealous that I couldn’t make it this year, but I’m already planning for OnStage 2018.
Great clean design! Cute card! 🙂
