Welcome to InKing Royalty’s December Blog Hop! We have a fun Blog Hop theme today – Wrap it Up! The hop is filled with projects that are perfect for this time of year – everything from gift-packaging ideas to bundling up to stay warm. We are excited to share our creations with you today. When I saw this month’s theme I decided to do a box. I wanted it to be versatile, one you could use for treats or other goodies. I decided to use one of my favorites from the Holiday catalog to make my box, the Year of Cheer designer series paper.  I cut the dsp to 10 15/16 x 9 1/4. Then on the portrait side it is scored at 1 7/16 on both sides.  Then turning the paper to the landscape position it is scored at 1 1/4, 3 1/2, 6 1/16 and finally 8 6/16.  Gold and burnish the score lines.  With the paper in landscape cut on the vertical up to the horizontal score line on both sides. Here’s a picture to show how your project should look after cutting along the score lines.

Make sure to trim along the sides of the tabs. After putting the box together it should look like this.

The box is large enough to hold a scarf or lots and lots of chocolates.
