Happy Friday dumplings, Miss Hammie is hoping you’re someplace warm and not experiencing temps in the teens like I have been doing. I do hope that you have enjoyed the cards that I posted so far this week. I have developed a love of eclipse cards or maybe it’s a love of the Stampin’ Up Large Letters and Large Numbers framelit die sets. Today’s card isn’t an eclipse card, but I think if you like my blog you’ll like this card. The designer series paper that I used can only be described as yummy or scrumptious. Miss Hammie should, no must confess her love of foiled paper. If its shiny or sparkly my eyes sort of glaze over and my brain says buy, buy, buy. And ultimately I will and I’ll buy more than one pack. The paper that I used today is From the Sweet Soiree suite. It’s a specialty paper because it’s foiled. The stamp set that I used was Birthday Wit. Both the designer series paper and the stamp set are in the Occasions catalog. Pair those two things with a pack of cardstock and an ink pad and guess what? Your order will most likely qualify you for a Sale-a-Bration product. Now if you’re wondering what the heck I’m talking about an explanation is forthcoming, but first back to my card. I used a 51/2 x 81/2 piece of Thick Whisper White cardstock to make my card base. I layered a 51/2 x 41/4 piece of Sweet Soiree designer series paper onto the white card base. I used a single sentiment from the Birthday Wit stamp set on the inside my card using Stampin’ Up Old Olive ink.
Well dumplings I’m sure that you appreciated the quirkiness of this card mainly because you appreciate the quirkiness that is Miss Hammie. Now it’s time for business.
This is the Occasions catalog and it contains so many beautiful things. There are stamp sets and Designer Series papers. There are ribbons, die sets and beautifully colorful embellishments. And you know what? If you shoot me an email I will be overjoyed to send you not only a copy of the Occasions catalog, but a copy of the Sale-a-Bration brochure too.
There’s that word again dumplings
What exactly is it? It’s a very special promotion that Stampin’ Up does every year at this time to reward our customers. We know that after the holidays you still want new crafting supplies, but maybe you can’t spend like you want. Well what if Miss Hammie said for every $50.00 worth of product that you order you can choose an additional stamp set, or card kit? Would that make you do your happy dance? Well dumplings that’s what Sale-a-Bration is, spend $50.00 get to choose a free product, spend $100.00 get to choose two free products from the $50.00 category or one from the $100. category. And so on and so on. This promotion goes on thru the end of March, think of all the free products you could choose. It boggles the mind. To top it off the Sale-a-Bration products are exclusives, you can’t buy them, they aren’t in any catalog. In fact after March 31st they’re gone forever.
Tomorrow we, Miss Hammie and her dumplings, are going to talk Ultimate Bundle. However for tonight as always TTFN
