The Favorite Card

Happy Monday dumplings.  Have you ever wondered what type of greeting card is the one people send the most?  Wonder no more it’s Christmas cards. However what cards do we like to receive most? It’s birthday cards, and is it any wonder. When we get a birthday card it means our special day has been remembered. It means someone thought of us in a really sweet way. It means someone took the time to send a card that they decided was just right for us.  If that card is one that the sender made themselves especially for us it means even more.

The card I’m sharing with you today was created using a sentiment from the Birthday Wit stamp set. The fun dsp with the bows is from the Picture Perfect Party 6”x 6” dsp pack and Berry Burst cardstock. The cardstock was cut to 51/2” x 81/2” and scored at 41/4”.  The dsp is cut to4”x 51/4”. I stamp the sentiment in Berry Burst on a Whisper White cardstock oval. To add just a touch of sparkle I added to rhinestones on either side of the sentiment. Personally I would love to find this in my mail on my birthday and my sweet dumplings I think you would too.
