Happy Wednesday dumplings. Today is Valentine’s Day and I want to share a card with you.
It’s an eclipse card that I created using a piece of the beautiful foiled paper from the Painted With Love Specialty Designer Series Paper. I used dies from two die sets. The heart that I used to replace the “O” in love was made using a die from the Lots to Love Box Framelits Dies. The other letters were made using dies from the Large Letter Framelits Dies. To add extra lift using the aforementioned dies I made 2 of each letter and the heart out of Powder Pink cardstock and layered with the dsp being the visible layer. I used Tombow Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue to adhere the individual layers to each other. All the letters were cut out using the Big Shot and the magnetic platform. I adhered the dsp to a 51/2” x 81/2” scored at 41/4” Thick Whisper White cardstock using Snail adhesive. To adhere the letters to the cardbase I used the Adhesive Strips. I’m very happy with the way it came together.
Yesterday Miss Hammie was with her sister. We’ve talked about her before dumplings, you know Miss Hammie’s Younger Sister. She said something that resonated with me. Basically it’s this, if you keep saying the same thing over and over people stop hearing it, it becomes what Miss Hammie calls Charlie Brown’s teacher. You know she’s saying something, but her voice has become something akin to “white noise”. Or worse you hear it so much where once you were interested now you just don’t want to hear it again. That’s why no business today. Have an awesome Valentine’s Day and remember to not just love others, but to love yourself. See you on Friday TTFN
This card is absolutely gorgeous, Robbye! Love the popped up letters and the use of this artistic, gorgeous paper. ❤

Thank you, I was pleased with the way it came together. I would use Charlie’s teacher’s signature wah wah wah to amuse my students before I retired.
