Welcome to InKing Royalty’s February Blog Hop! Today’s Blog Hop today is filled to the brim with projects that celebrate birthdays. The opening line from The Beatles’ “Birthday” song ran through our heads as we joyfully created the birthday-themed creations we share with you today. After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.

Lets be honest if the theme is “They Say it’s Your Birthday”   what type of card can I , Miss Hammie make other than a birthday card?  An anniversary or get well card perhaps. No my sweet dumplings it had to be a birthday card. I personally like either cute happy birthday cards or really snarky “Geez Louise are you ever old” type birthday cards. Today’s card is, I think, the former (I save the latter for family, lol). So here’s my card.

63118D73-B193-4D4B-B7EE-B580913202AE I think this baby panda from the Party Pandas stamp set (that you can get free with a qualifying Level 1 $50.00 order) that I stamped on Whisper White cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black ink is so stinkin’ cute in his party hat. The party hat dsp is from the Picture Perfect Party designer series paper pack. The cardbase is 5 1/2” x 8 1/2” Lemon Lime Twist cardstock scored at 4 1/4”.  The dsp is trimmed to 4 1/2” x 3 6/8” and it’s adhered to a 5” x 3 3/4” piece of Berry Burst cardstock. This was adhered to the cardbase using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I used the Layering Squares Framelits dies to cut out the Panda and the Berry Burst square that I adhered it to. I rounded the corners on both using the envelope punch board. Then I adhered that to the dsp using Snail. I am really pleased with how he turned out. I prefer to leave the inside blank so I can write a personal message I so I put a 5 1/4” x 4” piece of Whisper White cardstock inside.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you’ll hop along to the next stop on the blog hop,
