It’s Monday

Hello and happy Monday my dumplings. If you’re like me the Monday after the time switch wasn’t easy, but it gets better I promise. I’m happy that I’m still in a crafting, handmade card making state of mind. Billy Joel might be in a New York state of mind, but I’m in a Tutti-Frutti, Basket Weave, Layering Circles, Old Olive, Crumb Cake state of mind. See how I snuck in what I used as I listen to Mr. Joel. The card has a 5 1/2” x 4 1/4” base of Old Olive. I added a layer of 5” x 3 3/4” Crumb Cake that I embossed with the Basket Weave embossing folder. It was adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals I adhered a 4 3/4” x 3 1/2” piece of Tutti-Frutti dsp to my Crumb Cake layer. I chose a sentiment from the Bubble Over stamp set that I stamped on Whisper White cardstock in Real Red ink. Using three of the dies from the Layering Circles Framelits dies and my Big Shot I cut out the sentiment and a circle in Real Red and Old Olive. I adhered the Whisper White circle to the Real Red and the Real Red to the Old Olive using mini glue dots. I adhered the Old Olive circle to the front of the card using a Stampin’ Dimensional. Let me know what you think in the comments section below because I’m more than a little pleased with the final product.
