December InKing Royalty Blog Hop

Welcome to InKing Royalty’s December Blog Hop! This year’s Blog Hop themes are inspired by popular songs – this month’s song is “Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons.” As you can guess, our Blog Hop today is filled with projects that are inspired by beautiful paper and beautiful ribbons – how clever! We are excited to share our creations with you today! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.

Here’s my project for today’s Blog Hop.

To me nothing is prettier during the holiday season than Silver Glimmer Paper. For this card I layered Silver Glimmer Paper on a Whisper White 51/2 x 41/4 card base. Then I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to layered a  5x 33/4 piece of Balmy Blue, to which I had added a piece of the White Flocked Polka Dot ribbon, onto the Silver Glimmer Paper. To embellish I used various size snowflake dies from the Snowfall Thinlits dies collection along with the Big Shot to cut out Silver Glimmer snowflakes. The sentiments, both on the front and inside are from the Snow Is Glistening stamp set. I used a scalloped and two plain ovals from the Layering Ovals Framelits dies to cut out a Silver Glimmer Scalloped Oval, a Balmy Blue Oval and a Whisper White Oval. The sentiment was stamped on the Whisper White oval that was layered on the Balmy Blue oval using Stampin’  Dimensionals. Then I layered that onto the Silver Glimmer Scalloped oval using Snail adhesive. The snowflakes were attached using the FineTip Glue Pen.  I really enjoyed making this card and I’m hoping that you’ll like it as well.
