MERRY CHRISTMAS

MERRY CHRISTMAS DUMPLINGS !!!! Why in heaven’s name are you on WordPress on Christmas Day?  You should be enjoying your family today, not checking to see what I’m up to. However since we know some of you will be anyway and also because I’ve been really remiss about posting lately. Here’s what I’m sharing. I sent out two Christmas cards this year. One was your typical Christmas card and the other was for people who love their pets. Both were made with Stampin’ Up products. The first one that I’m sharing was made using the Night in Bethlehem bundle which can still be purchased during our Year End Sale which ends very soon. The card base was made from Blasic Black cardstock. I added a layer of Whisper White both on the front and inside. I used the framelits to die cut the buildings using Whisper White and Crumb Cake cardstock. Using a dauber I brushed or daubed Soft Suede around the edges of the Whisper White buildings. I also die cut Mary, Joseph and the donkey from Silver Foil paper and the star from Silver Glimmer Paper. The sentiment is from the Night in Bethlehem stamp set.

The second card I sent out to pet lovers and a few special family members. The bundle I used for this card was the Ready for Christmas bundle. The card has a Real Red card base to which I added a layer of Whisper White. I used Old Olive cardstock for the Christmas tree and I stamp the tree detail in Garden Green. I added ornaments that were die cut from Gold glimmer paper along with several that were stamped in Real Red on Whisper White cardstock. I also added a layer of Whisper White inside the card. Using the dies from the bundle I die cut a table from Basic Black cardstock and a dachund that was stamped on Crumb Cake cardstock in Soft Suede. I stamped the cookies and note to Santa image in Memento Black ink so it looked like the plate was sitting on the table. I colored in the cookies using a Soft Suede Stampin Write market.

TFB (Time for business)

As I said earlier in this post the Stampin’ Up End of Year Sale is still going strong. You can really get some great savings on some beautiful stamp sets and the last opportunity to save 10% on some of our bundle. Items like the beautiful Night in Bethlehem bundle will no longer be available after January 2nd.  Those images speak to what Christmas truly means to so many of us. I didn’t use even half of the beautiful images from the Ready for Christmas bundle. Maybe you’re a dog lover like me and would love to create cards with dancing dachunds. The chance to do that will be gone very soon. Just go to my online store and click Shop to go to all the items that are available. There’s a special Year End Sale section. While you’re there check out the Clearance Rack, talk about bargains. Finally the opportunity to reserve your on Stamparatus ends on December 30th. After that you have to wait until June to even order this awesome stamp positioning tool.
