Welcome to InKing Royalty’s October Blog Hop! This year’s Blog Hop themes are inspired by popular songs – this month’s song is “Monster Mash.” As you can guess, our Blog Hop today is filled with fun projects that are inspired by the spookiest night of the year – Halloween. We are excited to share our creations with you today! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.

Hello my dumplings, while Fall and the chill it brings isn’t a particular favorite of Miss Hammie’s I do love its holidays. I mean, really a legitimate excuses to eat candy and sweet potato pie, sign me up! However the blog hop isn’t about candy or pie, it’s about paper crafting. Here’s what I did, I went with a simple card. I made the card base out of Blackberry Bliss cardstock  (51/2 x 81/2 scored at 41/4). I layered a piece of dsp from the Toil and Trouble DSP pack (51/4 x 4) into the card base. The sentiment and my “scary” goblin and mummy are from the Trick or Tweet stamp set found in the Holiday catalog. The jack ‘o lantern I just added because those two need a place to put their treats and it reminds me of the plastic treat holders kids carry. I used one of the oval Stitched Framelits Dies to cut out the sentiment using the Big Shot. I popped up my sentiment and my scary guys with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I colored that frightening duo with Stampin Write markers in Basic Black, Basic Gray and Highland Heather.  I placed my sentiment and my “trick or treaters” on an angle, well just because I wanted to.
