When you see my new card that I created you’re going to wonder where all that gold came from. Well, I haven’t taken any trips to Fort Knox, what I did was order the Eastern Palace Suite when it was first introduced. All that gold is part of the Eastern Palace Special Designer Series Paper collection, item number 144147 in the Stampin’ Up annual catalog. My card base was created from Tranquil Tide card stock, item number 144246. Tranquil Tide is one of Stampin’ Up’s 2017-2019 InColors. I used a small piece of Stampin’ Up Very Vanilla item number 101650. I also used an embellishment from the Eastern Palace Suite an adorable little tassel from the Mini Tassel Assortment, item number 144154. To finished it off with a small piece of1/8 inch gold and white ribbon item number 134583.The sentiment, Thinking of you, is from the Colorful Seasons stamp set, item number 143726. Now a bit about my inspiration for this card. I CASE’D (Copy And Share Everything) a card by Louise Sharp that I thought was so unique and beautiful. Louise Sharp is one of the designers who make up the Global Design Project team (which includes my amazing upline Brian King and sideline Shawn de Oliveira). Let me tell you about the other projects that I used to make my card. A product that I wouldn’t be able to make cards without is my Stampin’ Trimmer, item number 126889, it cuts and scores. My Stamp and Pierce mat, item number 126199, a must have if you use photopolymer stamps. My card has an adorably shiny tag that I made with the Stampin’ Up Scalloped Tag Topper punch, item number 133324, to make it. To give the tag a little lift I attached it with Stampin’ Dimensionals, item number 104430. To put the card together I used our Snail adhesive, item number 104332. Finally to stabilize the mini tassel I used a mini glue dots, item number 103683.
When I told you that I was back and that I was going to try to do better I meant in a variety of ways. First there are still a few updates to be made to my site my new, or more accurately my only, logo is on a slow boat from Mexico or maybe a slow internet connection from Mexico. Hopefully it will be arriving soon. Previously I didn’t include graphics about Stampin’ Up promotions. We all know I am, or was, an as the spirit moves me crafters, so sometimes the promotions ended before I posted anything. Since I’ve committed to posting three days a week I’ll be including our promotions and in most cases encouraging you to take advantage of the promotions because Stampin’ Up does great money saving promotions. Another thing that I didn’t do was Blog Hops or Challenges, so no cards that were parts of things like that. Well I have friends who encouraged me to try those, so occasionally there will be cards or other projects made for a blog hop or challenge. That being said today’s card is going to be submitted for the Global Design Project’s challenge. The team over at the Global Design Project have reached a milestone, their 100th challenge #GDP100. I decided that was an excellent reason to try this challenge. Hopefully they won’t be blinded by the glorious gold of my card.
So for the #GDP100 Challenge here’s my card I’m just going to call this card “Goldie”
Beautiful card!!! Love the Fort Knox gold! So striking 😀

I love this, Robbye! All that gold can be overwhelming, but you’ve managed to make it amazing! Looks gorgeous paired with Tranquil Tide. So great to see you playing along with the GDP. Thanks for helping us to celebrate our 100th challenge!
