Happy Monday dumplings. This one, blog post, is going to be short and sweet. First, I’m sorry I’m posting so late, but I was waffling between which project to post. I decided to go with the project I posted today for the InKing Royals challenge. I case’d a design from Intatwyne Designs, a 3” x 3” card holder and 3” x 3” cards.

The holder was made from a 73/4” x 51/2” Sweet Sugarplum cardstock.  Using the Stampin’ Up Simply Scored scoreboard turning the cardstock to portrait mode score it at 1” and 41/2”.

Then turning it to landscape mode score at 2” and 3”. Then score at 5” but only to the first horizontal score line on both sides.

Fold and burnish the score lines with your bone folder. Using your paper snips cut along the 1” and 41/2” vertical score lines to the 5” horizontal score line on both sides.

Then cut along the 2” and 3” horizontal score lines on both sides creating the tabs.

Using the envelope punch board round the corners on the top.

Cut two pieces of the dsp, I used Picture Perfect Party. One piece will be 41/4” x 31/4”, the second piece will be 13/4” x 31/4”. Round the corners on the top of the larger piece using the Envelope punch board.

Using Tombow multi-purpose glue attach the dsp to the cardstock and let it dry.

On the Intatwyne site she used the Layering Ovals to cut the decorative opening. I used punches. So use what you have to make the opening or don’t have one. There should be three “tabs” on each side, put Multi-purpose glue on the first two, they’re both going to be glued to the last one.

Anywho dumplings here’s the card holder which I thick is adorable. Oopsie almost forgot the cards. The cards are Whisper White cardstock, I used regular cardstock however I suggest using the thick instead. The cardstock is 3” x 6” scored at 3”, the dsp is 23/4” x 23/4”. I attached the dsp with Multi-Purpose glue. The Thanks sentiment is from the Lovely Inside and Out stamp set. I stamped it in Sweet Sugarplum ink and cut it out with a 13/8” circle punch.  Once again here’s the project.
