Welcome to InKing Royalty’s March Blog Hop! This year’s Blog Hop themes are inspired by a single word – and this month our projects are centered around GREEN. We are excited to share our creations with you today – there’s a wonderful variety of styles and occasions celebrated in this hop! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.

Hello my sweet dumplings. I’ve decided not to be redundant and tell you the theme of this Blog Hop again. Instead we’ll get right to my card and why I made it. I don’t know why, but the word green always makes me think of Spring and new beginnings. Spring always makes me think of Easter and our Lord. They say never discuss politics or religion so I’m not going to, but my card reflects my feelings about the color Green. I used two shades of green for my card. The card base was made with Old Olive cardstock. I added a layer of Lemon Lime Twist cardstock to my card base because I like that color and it will be retiring soon. I added it using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I had added a layer of Whisper White cardstock to my Lemon Lime Twist layer using Snail adhesive. I used two of the Layering Rectangles dies and the Big Shot to cut my layers. The sentiment on my card is from His Grace stamp set and the stamp I used for the grass is from the Enjoy Life stamp set. I used Old Olive ink for both the sentiment and the grass. The Cross was made using Kraft paper and a die from the Cross of Hope Framelits dies set.  I hope you’ll like this card as much as I do. It’s simple and the message touches a special place in my heart.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you’ll hop along to the next stop on the blog hop,Denise Hoepfner at The Mountain Magpie
