InKing Royalty Blog Hop

Welcome to InKing Royalty’s April Blog Hop! This year’s Blog Hop themes are inspired by a single word – and this month our projects are centered around SPRING. Spring is a special time of year – it’s fun to celebrate the beauty of nature and to get back outside during this transition of the seasons. We are excited to share our creations with you today! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.

Hello my sweet dumplings, well it’s time for another Blog Hop and this month’s theme is Spring. Now what does the word Spring make you think of ? To be perfectly honest if you live where Miss Hammie lives, or in that general vicinity, Spring means itchy eyes and sniffles caused by pollen. Now if Miss Hammie let’s her more positive side rear it’s happy go lucky head you hear things like “Well what’s a little pollen if in exchange you get beautiful trees and flowers ?” Well it’s trips to Walgreens for Allergy meds. Dumplings excuse me that yellow stuff has made it impossible to wear my contacts and my eyes feel like there’s sand in them practically 24 – 7 ! However I digress, you want to know about my card for the Blog Hop.  Here’s a list of the products that I used.

Thick Whisper White cardstock – cut to 51/2 x 41/4 for my card base

Powder Pink cardstock – cut to 51/4 x 4 for the first layer

A piece of Garden Impressions dsp – cut to 5 x 33/4 for my second layer

Layering Oval dies, and the Big Shot – I used one of the scalloped dies to cut a piece of Powder Pink cardstock to act as a backing for a plain oval of Whisper White cardstock that I used for my sentiment.

Speaking of the sentiment it is from the Varied Vases stamp set and was stamp with Memento Black ink.

I adhered the dsp layer to the Powder Pink cardstock layer using Snail adhesive. The Powder Pink oval was also adhered using Snail the Whisper White oval was adhered using Stampin Dimensionals. The completed layers and sentiment were adhered to the card base using Stampin Dimensionals.  I think it’s quite Spring-ish including the sentiment. I hope you agree and that you’ll leave a comment.

Busy Busy Busy

Happy Friday dumplings, as you can tell from the title of my post Miss Hammie is up to her ear lobes in cardstock, clear blocks, dsp, framelits and ink. Busy little bee is what I am so today’s blog is all business reminders.

This sale ends on January 2, 2018 and lots of great products will no longer be available.

The reservation window  for this awesome positioning tool closes on Saturday and you won’t be able to order one again until June when Stampin’ Up’s new Annual catalog goes live. Speaking of going live there is a great catalog waiting in the wings to go live on January 3, 2018, the Occasions catalog.  This is also the day that Sale-a-Bration begins.  I used a bundle from the Occasions catalog to create my sister’s birthday card that I shared with you yesterday. The Bubble Over bundle is just a tiny example of the goodness in the Occasions catalog.  And I haven’t even shared any of the Sale-a-Bration goodies yet, but I will before it goes live.

What Miss Hammie wants you to do is head to my online store  ,just click on the link, and check out the End of Year Sale and Clearance Rack sections, there are more bargains than you can shake a credit card at.

Well I need to get back to my card making while you shop. Be good dumplings and

I’m Back Dumplings

Hello and happy Tuesday dumplings, did you miss me?  After Miss Hammie’s visit with her Older Daughter and dealing with the snow I was totally worn out.  I decided that I would just be lazy for a while. I was also anxiously waiting for an order from Stampin’ Up.  It arrived, as did my December Paper Pumpkin. While that was making me do my happy dance a single thought brought that to a screeching halt. I’m know what you’re thinking, “What thought Miss Hammie?”.  Well I’m going to tell you what thought, Christmas cards. I hadn’t even tried to think of a Christmas card layout, much less asked for addresses. Every single year, well not every year but quite a few, I procrastinate. Well, the cards are D. O. N. E. , done. They’re going in the mail tomorrow and anyone I miss, well you’re getting a New Year’s card. I’m starting on those tomorrow, layout courtesy of Tami White, thank you Tami.

Now an explanation, since some of the people getting a card from me follow my blog I won’t be posting photos of my Christmas or New Year’s cards until after January 1, 2018.

Moving on to Stampin’ Up news. There are great new items on the Clearance Rack, be sure and check those out. The Year End Sale continues and the reservation window for the Stamparatus remains open until December 30, 2017.

As you may or may not know I am part of the InKing Royalty team. The “captain” of the team is Stampin’ Up demonstrator extraordinaire Brian King. The team periodically has a blog hop which I’ve participated in previously. Well it’s blog hop time again and I would love for you to come back tomorrow and check out the projects created by my super talented team mates. You’ll be blown away by their creativity with paper and ink. Hopefully you’ll give me a thumb’s up on my project.  Take care my dumpling I’ll see you tomorrow so TTFN
