Happy Monday dumplings. Did you know that there are 50 days until the first day of Spring? I knew, well I keep reading posts on Instagram and FB about it being right around the corner, but 50 days!!!
I was looking around the humble abode and after a chit chat with the Younger Sister about an awesome recycling place she found and her basically giving me about 2 weeks to gather recyclables I decided I best get cracking. Now we’ve reached that point where I ALWAYS get frustrated, where does one (that would be moi) begin. I mean really no matter how many books, tv shows or whatever about organization I read or watch discarding things is difficult. Perhaps it’s the teacher in me that always whispers “But that’s still good, you’re going to be able to use it”. Personally I think if teachers were paid a real wage we wouldn’t look at paper towel tubes and see DIY kaleidoscopes, but I digress. I just have to get over seeing dollar bills going in the trash rather than things I just have no use for anymore when I bite the bullet and start throwing things away.
Today I’m making another attempt to get all my crafting supplies in one place. And there in lies one part of my dilemma. I know where I want it all to go, it’s the getting it all to fit. So do I start there and try to make room? Do I organize the supplies in containers first, which to me is the most difficult, tedious and mind numbing task? What to do, what to do? Yo no se. Since I know you can’t hear me, just so you’ll feel my pain, I’m making the Charlie Brown sound right now.
Aaaaaaaaggggggghhhhhhhhh
Ok, dumplings I feel much better. Sometimes a little screaming helps to relieve stress. Truthfully Miss Hammie’s no closer to a decision than she was before. However she does know herself pretty well after all these decades and I can always find a way to skip organizing so the answer is pretty clear. I’ll keep putting it off until I can’t anymore. Perhaps I should put befriend a professional organizer on my vision board.
Well I’ve decided to put my dilemma on the back burner for a bit and tell you about a few things.
DISCLAIMER:
Yes, another not so clever avoidance ploy, but what I want to share is really important 😊.
The new Occasions catalog is available online via my Online Store
There are so many drool worthy stamp sets, bundles and awesome designer series papers in this catalog. If you’re like me you’re going to want it all which brings me to another important thing
During Sale-a-Bration you get to choose exclusive products if you place a $50.00 order. There are also exclusive products you can choose if you place a $100.00 order. Once Sale-a-Bration ends these exclusive stamp sets, kits, papers and other crafting supplies are gone. The Sale-a-Bration brochure is also available via my Online Store
Another great way to qualify for Sale-a-Bration Items is by subscribing to our monthly craft kit Paper Pumpkin. Get a prepaid 3, 6, or 12 month subscription and you can qualify for those exclusive products. I promise more on that tomorrow.
Finally the last thing I want to talk about with you. I have a series of questions and you need to answer honestly.
1. Do you like DIY type activities?
2. Do you like creating unique home decor items?
3. Do you find it difficult to find just the right card for various occasions?
4. Have you ever paid $5.00 – $7.50 for a greeting card and thought “I could have created something better” ?
If you answered yes to these questions, or quite honestly even if you didn’t, do I have a “You can’t pass this up” opportunity for you. Right now is the best time to “test drive” being a Stampin’ Up demonstrator. What do I mean by “test drive”. Sign up, order our starter kit or what we like to call “The Ultimate Bundle”. You know when you purchase one of our bundles you save 10% over what you pay if you ordered the components separately. With the starter kit you pay $99.00 and get to order $125.00 worth of products. During Sale-a-Bration when you sign up you get to chose 2 additional stamp sets from any catalog no matter the price. Plus the starter kit is shipped to you at $0 shipping and handling. And, you have until the end of July, that’s right I said JULY to decide if being a demonstrator is right for you. No one is going to hassle you to sell, over 90% of all Stampin’ Up demonstrators are Hobby demonstrators. They just love the products and getting them at a discount. Oh, I almost forgot to tell that if you sign up you qualify for a 20% discount on any orders you place after you order your starter kit. I hear you dumplings, some of you are saying “But Miss Hammie I’m not crafty”. Here’s a revelation neither was I. When I joined I did it because while I didn’t consider myself crafty per se I enjoyed scrapbooking and dabbled in cardmaking. Bottom line good products aren’t cheap and I figure I could get quite a bit for $125.00 and since there’s absolutely no penalty, no you must return the products if you decide to quit. I said “Hmmmm, Miss Hammie this looks like a win win. You can try it for a few months, amass products at a 20% discount and then just say this isn’t working and quit”. But I didn’t quit, being part of the Stampin’ Up family is fun. Dumplings I want you to be a part of that fun so I’m saving a spot on my team for you.

Well dumplings, as you can tell I’m open to suggestions about organization. Any and all suggestions are appreciated. If you know any non-traditional organization options drop me a comment.
