Exciting and New

Happy Saturday dumplings, did you miss me yesterday? I’ve just started a new diet, due to some issues that showed up during my annual check up. My doctor said meds and I said let’s try changes to my diet first. Since I’m the one that pays, we’re going with try changes to diet first. I love sweet and I love salty and who wants to cook when there’s fast food less than 5 minutes away. So it’s taking a little getting use to. However I have shiny counter top appliances and the ability to follow a recipe, so it’s all goodie in my hoodie. I just have to get my body to agree with what’s going in it and yesterday wasn’t a good day.

Now on to more pleasant things like for instance Sale-a-Bration and the pretty new items that have been added to the exclusive Sale-a-Bration collection of items you can earn by simply placing a qualify order. An order of $50.00 qualifies you for a Level One item, while an order of $100.00 qualifies you for a Level 2 item. Here’s a look at the new items.

These new items are gorgeous!  In fact I made a card using one of the designs from the new specialty dsp.  Actually I’ve made a card and a 3-D project using it.

The color on the box and note card look a tad pinkish, but that paper is actually white with gold and silver. The lighting was not the best. The card is white with copper foiling. All of the designs are scrumptious! And you basically get them as an added bonus, a thank you of sorts for making a qualifying purchase. You can see all the Sale-a-Bration items plus the Annual and Occasions catalogs by going to my Online Store. Just use the My Online Store Link below.

Normally I ask if you have ever thought about joining Stampin’ Up. Well today I’m going to tell you why I joined Stampin’ Up.  I really enjoy paper crafting, scrapbooking, making cards and 3-D projects like boxes and bags. I love red rubber and photopolymer stamps and ink pads, but boy can it be expensive. A friend introduced me to Stampin’ Up products and they were top quality, but a tad more expensive than what I bought at the local craft stores. However they were such better quality the added expense was understandable. Then the same friend said if I joined I would:

1. Be able to choose $125.00 worth of products, whatever I wanted, for $99.00.

2. Stampin’ Up would ship it to me for free.

3. That I would get a 20% discount on everything I ordered after I ordered my starter kit.  And most importantly

5. There would be no penalty if I decided that being a demonstrator wasn’t for me. I wouldn’t have to return items or pay any additional charge. Stampin’ Up would just basically say “Have a good life and keep crafting. We hope you’ll remember us when you want any crafting items.”

Well they had me at discount. Then a strange thing happened, I started meeting other demonstrators and they were so great and have become such dear friends leaving Stampin’ Up is the last thing on my mind. If I never sold a single item, I’ve sold items but if I never had, I would be happy being a hobby demonstrator because I believe Stampin’ Up is a great company that sells only the highest quality items. Over 90% of Stampin’ Up demonstrators never sells to others or sell to just their friends because they love the products and that 20% discount allows them to get more of them. I’m saving a spot on my team for people who enjoy crafting and do it because  of the enjoyment it brings them and who recognize a good deal when they see it. If you think you might like to try it send me an email and we can discuss the pros and cons. Remember if you join there is absolutely no obligation to stay if you find it doesn’t work for you.  If you’ve made up your mind and want to take a “test drive” simply use the Join My Team link below.  During Sale-a-Bration is the best time to join because you’ll get to pick two additional stamp sets of any price from the Annual or Occasions catalog.

Cross your fingers dumplings that I can stay on my new diet. Have a great weekend and check out the catalogs and the Sale-a-Bration brochures at my Online Store.

      1. Dark chocolate is supposed to be beneficial. The nutritionist might recommend a bit of time “off”, but then you should be able to have little treats every now and then. I gave my 83 year old father a bag of dark chocolate Dove hearts for Valentine’s Day (and I’m sure my mother made him share!).
