Berry Burst

Happy Monday dumplings. Here’s hoping you had an awesome weekend and woke up ready to rock the new week.  I have a question for you all, if writers can have writer’s block can a crafter have crafter’s block?  Today’s card just wouldn’t come together and be the card I saw in my head. So even though the primary color is the same I ended up going in a different direction. Miss Hammie must admit it’s more than a little frustrating to have a picture in your head and not be able to bring it to fruition on your crafting table. The last thing I need right now is to get stressed and frustrated.

However what I did make is a combination of two stamp sets, either of which can be yours with a qualifying order. That’s right dumplings they’re both Sale-a-Bration stamp sets. If you have been following my blog I’ve explained that during Sale-a-Bration you get to choose from several exclusive stamp sets, designer series papers, and even framelits  and embossing folders if you place a $50.00 or $100.00 order. The teacher in me wants to say orders in increments of $50.00, for example $150.00 would qualify you for either 3 Level 1 items or 1 Level 1 and 1 Level 2 item and so on. Miss Hammie is so glad she finally got that out of her system. Now on to today’s card. I used Berry Burst cardstock that was 41/4” x 11” and scored at 51/2”. I cut a piece of 5”x 33/4” dsp from the Color Theory dsp pack. I stamped in Berry Burst on Whisper White cardstock that was 43/4”x 31/2”. I adhered the Whisper White to the dsp using Snail adhesive and then adhered that to the cardbase with dimensionals. The stamp sets I used were Heartfelt Blooms and Eclectic Expressions.

  1. Pretty card, Miss Hammie. YES…crafters suffer a similar condition to writer’s block. My mojo can be going strong, or it can act like a shy animal and skitter under the couch at the smallest things.
