Hello my sweet dumplings and here’s hoping your Memorial Day is awesome. It’s late May, early June so that means graduations galore. This year I only have one special graduate and I hope she thinks this card that I made for her is one half as special as she is. I decided on an eclipse card, it’s sort of my farewell to the Large Number Framelits that are retiring in a few short days. Honestly I’ll be holding on to mine because they’re great for birthdays and anniversaries. I used one of our new colors Balmy Blue because it is the closest to her school colors. I used two stamp sets the sentiment on the front of the card is from a new set in theStampin’ Up Annual catalog that goes live on June 1st call Hand Delivered. The sentiment inside the card is from a Sale-a-Bration stamp set called Amazing You(sorry, its no longer available).
Dumplings I feel as if I owe you guys an explanation on my absence. Things have been a little off balance lately. Without going into a lot of detail I haven’t felt very creative. I just couldn’t seem to get it together. Then I had a visit from my daughter and didn’t have time for much else. Well last night everything just seems to come together and the card above and the one that I’ll share on Wednesday are the end result. Hopefully the dry spell is over and there are no more heartbreaking surprises looming. Much love my sweet dumplings and TTFN
Great way to use those dies! Love the colors too. 🙂

I know she’ll love it, Robbye! The eclipse technique is always a wow – and those dies are amazing! I am glad you are back in the craft room and can’t wait to see what else you’ve made. ❤

Thanks Diane, I really hadn’t thought of it that way and you’re right. I’m simply glad it seems to be over.
