Father’s Day

Hi again dumplings, In case you didn’t hear this information already the new Stampin’ Up Annual catalog is live and you can order now. Well not right now because I would like for you to check out these cards. Now the dsp and stamp set have retired, but the ink that I used for both and the punch are available in the new catalog.  Besides you never know, things sometimes turn up on the Clearance Rack which you can access thru my Online Store. Anywho here are the cards. I really loved this stamp set, no that’s not true, I loved the entire suite. It was (and for me is) absolutely perfect for the men in my life. They don’t hunt, they don’t fish and while one has owned a truck, he doesn’t own one now.  Moving on here are the cards.

The card base is Crumb Cake onto which I adhered a layer of Tranquil Tide. The last layer is dsp from the True Gentleman dsp pack. I added two slim strips of Tranquil Tide and Dad also in Tranquil Tide. I used the Stampin’ Up Adhesive Strips to attach Dad to the dsp and Tombow Multi-Purpose Liquid glue to attach the strips. I used the Large Letter Framelit dies and the Big Shot to cut out the letters.  I think any Dad would be happy to open an envelope and find this inside (probably along with the keys to a new vehicle).

Next we have what’s called an Impossible Card. I saw it on Splitcoast Stampers and had to give it a try. The card base is Night of Navy, still available. The dsp is also from the True Gentleman dsp pack ( you’re really angry with yourself now aren’t you ). Both sentiments are from the Truly Tailored stamp set and I used the Tailored Tag punch to cut out the “To a classy kind of guy”.

I’m sorry you missed out on this, if you did. I’m positive some of my sweet dumplings followed my advice and checked out the Occasions catalog and already have their Father’s Day cards ready to go. However as I promised I’ll find some appropriate dsp and a stamp set and do these same cards with products you can get now. Be good because I’ve got some big, no huge news for you on Monday. Or you could come hang out with me on my FB page, Robbye Stamps tomorrow for a stroll thru the new catalog. If you can’t make it I’ll see you on Marvelous Monday, TTFN
