Welcome to InKing Royalty’s January Blog Hop! This year’s Blog Hop themes are inspired by a single word – and this month our projects are centered around LOVE. You’re certain to see some amazing ideas for Valentine’s Day in the hop, but there are other ways to honor love in the lineup, too. What fun! We are excited to share our creations with you today! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.

Hello my sweet dumplings. I know that I’ve been remiss, but the truth is I just haven’t felt extremely creative. So boo hoo poor Miss Hammie get over it and I’m really giving it the old retirement home try. That was a joke, I haven’t moved to that stage just yet. The theme for this month’s blog is LOVE and I had to really give some thought to how I would express it.

There are many types of love and I thought perhaps I would veer a little away from what one might expect. I decided on one that I experience every single day.

Heres a list of the things that I used to create my card.

I used components from 2 stamp sets, Nine Lives and Happy Tails. I used Badic Black and Melon Mambo ink. Whisper White and I believe Shaded Spruce cardstock. I’m afraid I don’t know the exact shade of the brown cardstock because it was a scrap. I used a pattern from the Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper stack. I also used the Dog Builder punch, the Stitched Seasons Framelits, my Big Shot and Stampin’ Trimmer.

Here’s my card

That’s right the unconditional love of our furry friends.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you’ll hop along to the next stop on the bloghop, but since I’m the last person let’s say I hope you checked out all the amazing creations that came before me. If you started with me then use the guide below to start at the beginning and be sure to show my team mates lots of love. There’s lots of inspiration to be found in this group – and you don’t want to miss it!

  1. What a cute card, Miss Hammie! I am thinking your dog paper scrap was Crumb Cake (but, with differences in computer monitors, I may be wrong…it doesn’t look dark enough to be Soft Suede on my screen). Always nice to “see” you! Have a great day!
